START-UPS FOR GOOD

Why Donate

Social Investments Instead of Aid Projects.

Africa has amazing entrepreneurs with great potential. Like all of us, they need some help at the start to make their dreams come true. We turn your donations into investments so that they can make their startups big. Unlike normal donations that end when the project ends, our donations create jobs that last.

So far, we have been able to invest 100% of private donations directly into our start-ups because of the generous support of institutional donors. In general, we aim to deploy 90% of private donations as cash investments or capacity building.

In principle, we are open to all start-ups that generate a social or sustainable impact in regions of extreme poverty. However, we do place a special emphasis on agriculture/food, circular economy, green energy/mobility, health, manufacturing, services, and WASH.
