Access to Critical Medical Information.

African countries face a significant healthcare challenge, with 48% of the population lacking necessary services. Millions of lives are at risk due to limited access to healthcare. This crisis is especially acute in blood management, where timely transfusions are critical for survival. The lack of real-time information, inefficient resource management, and inadequate digital infrastructure hinder effective healthcare delivery every single day.

LIFE-SAVING INNOVATION

BRIDGING
THE GAP

The innovation

Real-Time Medical Information Exchange.

Damu Sasa connects all hospitals to one digital platform, allowing them to share real-time information of life saving blood availability. Additionally, they realized that it is more than blood required on a timely basis to save lives. They started to imagine a world where accessing healthcare is as seamless as booking a ride or ordering food online and started making this vision a reality. The startup has evolved into a comprehensive healthcare solutions provider in Kenya, leveraging its expertise in blood management services to offer a holistic Hospital Information Management System.  Their cloud-based technology platform enables real-time sharing of medical information among hospitals and streamlines the entire healthcare value chain, making sure that healthcare professionals and patients can access critical medical products precisely when they’re needed. Damu Sasa’s platform bridges the gap in healthcare access and redefines how hospitals collaborate and share information.
